D2B Building Contracting LLC is a UAE-based construction company committed to delivering quality, reliability and innovation across a wide range of building, MEP and interior fit-out projects. Established in Dubai, D2B has earned a reputation for excellence, timely delivery and client satisfaction.

Led by a technically strong management team and supported by a diverse and dedicated workforce, D2B combines over 25 years of collective experience in the construction industry, with more than 50 residential, commercial, industrial and fit-out projects successfully completed.

Our three divisions — Civil Construction, MEP and Interior Fit-out — work in seamless coordination to deliver turnkey solutions that meet international quality standards. We believe in building more than structures: we build trust, value and long-term partnerships through integrity, innovation and excellence.

Leadership

The people accountable for the work

Chairman & Managing Director Baranidharan Subramani A civil engineer with over 15 years in the construction industry and a graduate in Civil Engineering from Tamil Nadu, India. He has managed and delivered more than 50 projects — shopping malls, fuel filling stations, heritage buildings, schools, industrial factories, service stations, and commercial and residential developments — for clients including Dubai Municipality, ENOC, EPPCO, ADNOC and EMAAR.

General Manager Mohammed Aaftab A mechanical engineer with a career spanning over 15 years across the construction and industrial sectors, holding a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Bangalore, India. He has worked in the UAE both as a contractor and as a developer’s representative engineer, giving him a comprehensive view of project execution, cost management and procurement.

Director — Operations Mohamed Rafiq A civil engineering graduate of Madras University with over 29 years in the construction industry, previously with Beaver Gulf Group. His experience covers major government and semi-government projects for ADNOC, Dubai Municipality, EPPCO, ENOC, NSHAMA, EMAAR and FEWA, with proven ability to execute large projects under full on-site construction management.

Division Manager — MEP Abdul Kader An electrical engineer from Anna University, India, with over 15 years in the construction industry and more than 30 projects completed and handed over. He coordinates with DEWA, SEWA, FEWA, Empower, Tabreed, Trakhees, Dubai Civil Defence, Dubai Municipality and EMAAR, and leads the MEP department across all projects.

Administrative & technical 32 staff General manager, director of operations and head of MEP; 3 project managers, 5 project engineers and 5 site engineers (civil), electrical and mechanical site engineers, 2 estimation engineers, 2 QA/QC engineers, a planning engineer, a quantity surveyor, 2 safety officers, and store, accounts, purchase and admin staff.

Site workforce 163 tradesmen 5 foremen and 8 charge hands supervising 25 carpenters, 25 steel fixers, 20 masons, 15 electricians, 15 plumbers and 45 helpers, with 5 drivers.

Plant & equipment Owned, not hired Bobcats, concrete mixers and needle vibrators, plate and roller compactors, air compressors, bar bending machines, jack hammers, generators and cutting equipment, plus 1,500 sq m of scaffolding and 1,000 sq m of supports and decking systems.

Fleet 18 vehicles 5 buses (32-seater), 3 fourteen-seater vans, 5 pickup trucks of 3.5 tonnes and 5 double-cabin pickups — our own labour transport and site logistics.
